celebrate!

What a wonderful night this was! We celebrated finishing our last day of rheumatology fellowship at Cafe Santorini. The roof-top patio was really cozy, the weather was perfect, the food and drinks were yummy, and the company was just fabulous!

It took us almost a decade since medical school to get to where we are now, so as you can imagine, we were beyond thrilled. I think I'm still in a bit of shock =) These colleagues of mine were some of the most wonderful, hard-working, and funny people I've worked with. Thanks for the good times, guys! Will really miss you!

Here's Liz, probably cracking one of her many funny jokes, and Darice looking so entranced =)

The junior fellows surprised us with these gifts. There was a personalized engraved plate on each. The joke was that we were all honored as "Fellow of the Year" (it's a very special honor - I plan to use it on my resume, haha!)

Yeah, keep those drinks comin'! Except after two glasses, I broke into a rash that stayed on for more than 24 hours.

Congratulations on your graduation! That's such a huge accomplishment. Everyone seems so young and smart (sometimes you can just tell!). :) And so happy!

I love all of your pictures -- gah, why can't those actions work on my pics as well as they work on yours? I love all the tones, and the diptychs.
